Home groups

Transformation happens in relationships

Why Do We Meet in Home Groups?

God created us for community and relationship. Our home groups are a way we can develop biblical friendships by providing fellowship, care, comfort, encouragement,  prayer, accountability, and building up one another in love.

One of the ways God cares and provides for His people is through other Christians, and believers simply can’t enjoy all that is intended for them or be as effective for God’s kingdom on their own. We require all members and encourage visitors to be a part of home groups so they can experience all that God wants for them.

We strive for unity as we live as those who are sent out into the world but not of the world.

When do home groups start and how long will they meet?
Home groups meet in cycles that roughly follow school semesters. We typically start in September and meet regularly through May, with a break during the summer.

What time do the groups meet and how often?
Home groups meet every week, with most meeting on Wednesday evening. For exact times go to our app or click the button at the top of this page.

How do you determine which group I will be placed in?
We don't. You can choose from any of our available groups based on which you think will be best for you.

Can I meet my potential leader before committing to a group?
Yes! We can point you in the direction of the person you want to meet.

Do you offer childcare?
It is up to the group to decide whether or not childcare will be provided, and then provide that childcare.

What will we be doing?
Building relationships, studying biblical truth, praying, and serving together.

Will I be expected to share personal or private experiences with the group?
You can decide how much you are comfortable sharing, but the more you are willing to let others know about you, the deeper your relationships can go!

I'm not comfortable with my knowledge of the Bible and faith yet. Will I need to answer deep questions?
Home groups are a safe place for anyone to ask questions, learn and take next steps..
